How we score

Four measures. Every vote we count is listed here, with a link to the official record.

The rules

  1. Each measure gets a number from 0 to 100: the share of a member’s recorded actions that were on our side. A key vote counts double.
  2. The regime measure needs two recorded actions to count. The people measure needs one.
  3. Ties to the MEK take points off. No tie is the baseline: it adds nothing and takes nothing. A member with ties loses up to 20 points, by how many of their chances they took: one signature on four resolutions put to them takes 5 points off, all four takes 20. Speaking at an MEK event counts the same as a signature.
  4. The Pahlavi measure is made only of sourced public statements and acts. One settled line is enough. With none, it shows “No record yet” and counts for nothing.
  5. The grade is the plain average of the first three measures that count, so each weighs the same, minus the points for MEK ties. A member needs the regime measure to get a letter.
  6. The same words get the same side, whoever says them and whatever their party.

What readers and members can do

  1. Reading needs no sign-in. Voting on a grade, giving an opinion or sending a video needs a membership: a name and an email.
  2. Your email is never printed and never given to anyone. The name you choose is printed with what you write.
  3. What members write is read by us before it goes on a page. We print opinions as the member’s, never as ours. We do not print insults, threats, or anything private about anyone.
  4. A source you send is opened and checked. If the words are on the page you sent, they go on the member’s record, with the link. Which side they fall on is judged by the rules above, not by who sent them.
  5. A grade changes only when the record changes. Many people asking is not a reason. A vote or a source is.

Every vote and bill we count

Stands with Prince Reza Pahlavi

Has met him, backed him in public, or asked the White House to work with him. A member who says Iranians have rejected the monarchy is marked against.
