Iran Uncensored

About

A record of where each member of the United States Congress stands on Iran, kept by Iranians.

Why this exists

Decisions about Iran are made in Washington by 539 people. Most Iranians could not name ten of them, or say how any of them voted. This site puts each one on a page: what they voted for, what they signed, what they said about Prince Reza Pahlavi, and whether they have lent their name to the MEK.

If you are an Iranian American, one senator and one representative on this list work for you. You can call their office. Now you know what to ask.

Where we stand

We want the Islamic Republic gone and a free, secular Iran in its place. We back Prince Reza Pahlavi to lead the way there. The grades are built on that, and we say so plainly so you can weigh them.

The facts under the grades are not ours to bend. Every vote comes from the official roll call. Every quote links to the page it was said on. If one is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Who makes it

Iran Uncensored is a Persian show hosted by Armin Navabi, with a community around it. Watch it on YouTube. Its English sister, Liberty Politics, grades the same Congress on twelve measures at libertypolitics.com.

This site is not connected to any party, campaign or committee, or to the office of Prince Reza Pahlavi. It does not tell anyone how to vote.

Be counted. Join the scorecard.

Members vote on whether a grade is fair, and what they write goes on the page. It takes a name and an email.

Have your say

Tell us what you think of a grade, send a video, or send the source we are missing. We read everything before it goes on a page, and we fix what holds up.
